A large majority of calico cats or calico cat kittens are awesomely female because genetically two X chromosomes are required to produce a calico cat breed. If the color of calico cat coat is black or orange then it is definitely a calico cat. In case, if it has a blue or cream color then it is known as muted calico cat.
The calico cat breed also needs to eat the right kind of kitten food. For its proper growth, an abundance of supplements are necessary in order to meet all her demands. The calico cat food must be recommended by the veterinarian. With lots of love and a little attention to grooming, calico cats can live as long as twenty years.
