Before buying one should check the size of the bed as it should matches the height and health of your dog, as your dog should not hang off the bed. There are many types of beds available in the like cuddlers ,pillows and mats n rugs.
One should check the filling of the bed. As mostly beds are filled with foam and some are filled with cedar. If the bed is filled with cedar check it should have refill facility available.
One should also check the covering of bed, it should be removable and washable .There are beds available for older and arthritic dogs too.
